My first knit sweater was back in the day, when variegated yarn first came out. I knitted a beautiful light blue sweater with royal blue specks. However it was very much too big. I ripped it all apart (tink, tink, tink) And remade it in the next smaller size. I have learned that I knit very loosely and always take that into consideration now!

That is such a good tip! Such a bummer you had to redo the whole sweater, but it seems like it was a good learning experience and helpful for future projects!

very nice

I am so very, very grateful for the section, in several of these patterns, where you include the measurements of the finished pieces. I'm using hand-spun yarn so this is a gold mine I've only dreamed of before!
