Knit Bag Patterns

The knit bag patterns in this collection are fun, sometimes easy, and great for beginner and advanced knitters alike. Since some small bags, purses, and totes don't require a full skein of yarn (like the popular Anything Knit Bag), knitting these totes and purses is a great way to use up any leftover hanks of yarn that you have lying around from other projects.

Knitted tote bags also make great reusable shopping totes for trips to the mall or the supermarket. In our current climate, it's always better to bring your own than to deal with the additional plastic bags. With these bags, purses, and backpacks, you'll be able to do all your shopping and running around with a fun and stylish accessory that you'll be proud to tell people that you made yourself!

I think adding a pin bar (found in jewelry findings section of any craft store) to the back of the ornament would make a great pin for any knitter!

Thanks for the interesting patterns. I use old plastic carry bags to knit purses and bags and present it to friends to recycle the plastic. They are long lasting and made in colours to match the outfit, even multicoloured.
