Hi Olivia, I'm from the Philippines and I'm starting to love crochet. I really love your free pattern, especially the hats. As a beginner I cannot crochet difficult patterns and more so I cannot do more completed patterns because the problem is the only available hooks in the market here is only 1mm which consumes a lot of yarn ang the gauge of course is different. I've already made 1920's cloche hat and I still want to make more, I want to have the right hooks intended for that pattern. Someday I can have it soon. moreover, I'm still copying your free pattern. thank you for sharing it.... God bless...

Hi Olivia, I hope you can help, I just love your Yellow Bow Easy Crochet Baby Booties. I am soon to become a first time grandma and would love to crochet these for my daughter. However, as I am a beginner I am finding it very hard to follow your pattern. No problem with the sole but I had trouble following Top of Shoe 1) Chain 1 crochet 1 half double crochet in (same) stitch.2) Double crochet decrease. 3) Crochet 10 half double crochet decrease. 4) Chain 2 crochet 1 Double crochet in same stitch? 5) Chain 4 Then in same stitch crochet 12 treble crochet together. I am really sorry to ask, I know you are very busy maybe you could advise me on a book I could read to help. Is this really an (easy) pattern or am I just a goose. Thank you for your time. Deborah Laing.
