  • Bleach
  • Spray bottle
  • Painter's tape

How to Tie Dye with Bleach

Instructions

  1. Pour your bleach into your spray bottle.

  2. Make a pattern onto your t-shirt with the painter's tape.

  3. Spray the bleach and watch it change colors! Be sure to add bleach all over your t-shirt so you don't miss a spot.

  4. Remove the painter's tape.

  5. Let dry and wash.

This is truly amazing. You're right. People tend to only talk about dying plain white shirts. It would be nice to try out this technique on a black one. I'm going to have to pass this idea along to my youth group. They'll probably get a kick out of it.
