Keep in mind birds like to pick and pull at things so keep your embellishments to a minimum.

I placed my house near the front door. Big mistake! The birds went crazy with the seeds and made a mess. I suggest placing your feeder as far away from your house asossible so you can enjoy them from afar!

What great wooden bird houses!!! I love your unique ideas... Thanks so much for posting!!!

One thing!! Around here we put our bird houses and feeders up very high! Its no good keeping them too low to the ground! Because any stray cats are attracted to the bords eating their food! And they try to kill them! Just a tip here!

For bigger birdhouses you can go to free patterns .com free woodworking search birdhouses, found a lot there.Helps if you can build these.they are easy to build with a simple jigsaw or scroll saw.Found some on diy and lowes.

If you use Internet Explorer - at the top right of the page it has icons. One of them says 'Page" with a little down arrow. If you click on that a menu will pop out saying email with ..... then just click on that and it will bring up your email program. Then you can send it to your friend like you do any other emails. It works for ALL internet explorer pages too. ENjoy!

eaglebeak29: why not just send her the URL and she'll get everything.

I would like to send a link to a friend about these birdhouses. Will you have a link added to the site for such a thing. Friend does not utilize the "share" venues. Thank you for your consideration. Lisa...eaglebeak29@yahoo.com
