Textured Pumpkin Centerpiece

Add color and texture to your fall table with this pumpkin and pot centerpiece. This simple foam centerpiece is easy to create for Thanksgiving.

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required:
Texture Fierro

TXF04 - Iron Green
TXF08 - Green Gold

Texture Terra Cotta:

TXT03 - Grand Canyon

Americana Brushes:

DBFN6504-B - White Bristle Fan 4

Supplies:

Water container
Paper towels
Silk or synthetic autumn leaf garland
Low-temp hot glue gun and glue sticks
Papier mache pot
Foam pumpkin

Instructions:

Use fan brush to apply Texture Terra Cotta over pumpkin and Iron Green on stem.
Use fan brush to apply Texture Fierro Green Gold over papier mache pot.
To assemble, position and adhere garland on pot rim. Position and adhere pumpkin on pot.

Helpful Hint:

Let dry between steps.

Love the pumpkin project! If you want a bit more detail, you could use a few more color variations in the pumpkin by adding some other paint colors simply by mixing in some brown in with the orange or terra cotta for darker tones for inside the grooves, and some white or yellow to,lighten. You could even do some bronze, copper or gold for a metallic touch!
