Decorative Mason Jar Craft Instructions

  1. Begin by painting the inside of your jar using your craft paint. This will most likely require two to three coats.

  2. Add your decal to the outside of your jar. Press this down and make sure there are no air bubbles.

  3. Take your jar outside and add a coat of spray paint.

  4. Peel off your stencil off, and if it is sticking in some places use a craft knife to lightly trace the edges to get a sharp clean look.

  5. Add a bow of your choosing and your mason jar craft is ready to go!

This project caught my eye because of the cow. Such a cute and country look. The technique looks so easy and is a fun and decorative way to upcycle jars.

very cute! I see a monogramed jar in my future

#NationalCraftMonth2017 Cute idea... although I'd use something other than a cow )

Cute idea. I would use a rooster decal and off white instead of white to fit in my kitchen. #NationalCraftMonth2017

Love mason jar crafts! #NationalCraftMonth2017
