Butter Cookie Rose


  • 5 mm (H) crochet hook
  • 12 yards of Chic Cotton Yarn
  • Stitch marker
  • Wool needle


At the end of each round just carry on, do not join with a slip stitch unless otherwise marked.  Mark the start of each round and then move marker as a round is completed.

  1. Ch 31
  2. Row 1) 1 sc in 2nd ch from hk, 29 sc, ch 1, turn (30)
  3. Row 2) *(1 ss, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 ss) in st, miss 1 st* x 4,  *(1 ss, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 ss) in st, miss 1 st* x 5, *(1 ss, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 ss) in st, miss 1 st* x 6
  4. Leave enough yarn to sew the flower together. Roll the flower around remembering to leave a space in the middle to put the button through and sew together.
