Lyvvie, 86 ch-3 sps means you should have 86 ch 3 sps. hope that helps & got to you before you took it apart.

I'd like to try this, but am very new to reading crochet instructions. I'm confused on row 6 - what does "86 ch-3 sps." mean?

The first chain of 260 is best made w/ a hook one size Larger, or simply make it looser. When you make your turns,,make sure you're making a stitch in the last turning chain. You can look on line to see how it's done and/or books can show you the right spot to make your last stitch before making the turning chain. I hope this helps.

very pretty how do you keep it from turning like a half moon not straight thats my problem crochet many rows not haveing them straight ?
