The Poinsettia is my favorite winter plant right after the Christmas cactus. The first time I saw them in shades of color other than the traditional crimson red I was hooked. I love when they come in shades of pink, my favorite color. This will be a great Christmas decoration that will not take long to make.

This is a stunning pillow. I can see my chair covered in several of these. Currently my decor colors for Christmas are pink and silver and these Poinsettia pillows will be perfect in hues of pink leave and silver centers. Thanks for the inspiration.

Delphine you are so right they would look so pretty done in pink and silver and I saw some stunning fabric for that at my Hobby Lobby and it even had poinsettias on it. This is a great way to add that special Holiday touch to your chairs and sofas. I can see these pillows done in many colors. Take a picture please if you make some for us all to enjoy. Makes you want to run out and get some fabric to make them.

This is a lovely addition to any holiday decor! You could make this pillow two ways, with a pillow form or just use the size of fabric you have on hand, and stuff with fiberfill. That way you are not locked into the same size and can vary them up a bit...would be cute to have a large one and smaller ones either matching in color, or complementing colors, especially if you have fabric remnants on hand that would work for this project.
