Spring Window Album

This Spring Window Album from Dawn Lotharius is a great gift to send to anyone.  Perfect for birthdays, Mother's Day, or just a little springtime greeting, this handmade album design is easy to customize and fun to put together.  Embellish your album with quotes, photos or cherished memories.

Materials:

• Paper album
• Paper floral accents
• Various embellishments, ribbons, etc.

Instructions:

1. I started with Flower Window 6" x 6" Album from the Creative Cuts and More store.
    
2. Those yummy flowers are  Flower #06-Set and I ordered  several : in the same color as the album, acetate, and white felt.
    
3. I used several dies from many companies to cut out mats for each of the pages.  The pages are empty because I wanted her to add her own pictures and memorabilia.
   
   
    
4. I used Butterflies of different sizes for the page tabs.
    
5. I used white ribbon to tie the pages together. 
    
6. I used a few shades of purple chalk to color the butterflies and a couple of the acetate flowers.
    
7. I had some soft purple pearls in my stash I added to the flower centers.
    
8. I chose to add a trellis frame in white behind the opening to give a peek to the patterned paper behind.
