Lion Dog Toy

"There's a big basket of cotton yarn scraps sitting on the shelf, and you're out of ideas. This adorable Lion Dog Toy takes only about an ounce of yarn, and it's a great way to use up your scraps of all colors. My pug Bruno loves to play tug of war, so I added a handle to the bottom of a lion to make his favorite game easier on me. Please be aware that all dogs are different; some will eat a toy within a day. Bruno will chew on a toy for about 3-4 months before it's ready for the trash. Regardless of how long it takes them to finish the toy, cotton yarn and cotton stuffing are best because they can be digested by the dog. For a larger dog, use a double strand of cotton yarn and a size J hook to make a larger toy.
