Twenty five years ago I started my ornament collection from the Dollar Store or some other economical store. The best part was purchasing ornaments after Christmas and New Year's to add for the next Christmas. As years passed I started upgrading my ornaments and each year I would purchase an ornament reminding me of someone or something which happened during that year. I also found ornaments reminding me of my childhood. I even have a beaded bell ornament my grandmother made over 40 years ago. The theme of my tree is "The Tree of Life". I have two white doves on top of the tree one bigger and the other smaller to which they look like a mother and child, representing peace, and when Jesus was baptized by John, God sent a white dove. Twelve years ago, I purchased a rotating base so the tree rotates adding that extra touch so everyone is able to see each ornament. When I was upgrading my ornaments, I had been purchasing at least two of each one. I had so many I gave some as Christmas gifts and donated others. My mother who is now 85 loves our tree and she loves many lights. Several years ago I found lights that have 8 combinations. Our tree is absolutely beautiful and having personalized ornaments makes it even more a Blessing. If the ornaments do not have an original box, I wrap each one with bubble wrap and tissue paper. If the date is not on the ornament, I write the year on it. Be creative and you will find the joy and Blessings of Christmas.

very cute ornaments,do you have quilling ones? Paula
