Wow! You can make something this beautiful with plastic milk jugs. I see that the color is added with sharpies. I would like to know if using paint will give you similar effects?

I think so! You'll want to use a multisurface paint. You might not get the translucent effect that the sharpies create, but I think you'll still get a cool effect!!

If you decided to use these re purposed plastic milk jug flowers in garland form or for some other type of embellishment, you have a win-win situation. I love to color but I am almost positive that my flowers will not be this stunning. However, because the medium used to create these is almost cost free, I have to give it a try.
