Blooming Irish Flower Pin

Materials:

  • XXL Glue Dots
  • Craft Glue Dots
  • Green Silk Ribbon by May Arts
  • Twine
  • Leaves by Maya Road
  • Green Leaf Trinket Pins by Maya Road
  • Tulle by Maya Road
  • Patterned paper
  • Pinback

 

Instructions:

  1. Peel the backing off of an XXL Glue Dot.
     
  2. Spiral and twist silk ribbon around the XXL Glue Dot by starting in the center and spiraling outward.
     
  3. Press the ribbon firmly onto the XXL Glue Dot.
     
  4. Once covered, peel off the clear backing of the XXL Glue Dot and adhere the silk ribbon tail to reverse side.
     
  5. Adhere leaves and tulle trim around the ribbon tail on the backside of the XXL Glue Dot. Press firmly to secure hold.
     
  6. Peel off the backing of an XXL Glue Dot and place over the ribbon tail, ends of leaves and tulle (sandwich the ends of the materials between the two XXL Glue Dots).
     
  7. Punch a circle of patterned paper 2" in diameter to cover the exposed XXL Glue Dots and adhere.
     
  8. Use Craft Glue Dots to adhere the pinback to the backside of the flower.
