Instructions:
-
Wash shirt to remove sizing. Do not use fabric softener. Dry in dryer then iron smooth.
- Cover work surface with plastic tablecloth and lay shirt on work surface.
Cheshire Shirt:
Tip: Practice technique on paper towels before you begin for a perfectly painted mirror image.
-
Trace over pattern lines with chalk. Flip over and place chalk side down on half of bust area on black T-shirt. Run fingers over lines to transfer design in chalk onto shirt.
-
Shake bottle of White Slick 3D Fashion Paint well, releasing air bubbles from the tip. Test on paper towel.
-
Hold tip to surface of shirt and squeeze gently, following the chalk lines.
-
Fold unpainted side of shirt over the painted side and press gently with palms of hands.
-
Unfold to reveal the complete Cheshire cat’s smile. Let dry.
- Wait 72 hours before washing. Wash in warm water, gentle cycle with mild soap; line dry. Do not dry clean.
Queen of Hearts Shirt:
-
To prevent fabric from shifting while painting, place freezer paper inside shirt, waxy side up and press shirt with iron on low setting to temporarily stick.
-
On front of shirt, tape down Crown and Bleeding Heart stencils. Refer to photo for placement. Tape paper towels around the stencils to prevent overspray.
-
Pour Blackout paint into the Fabric Paint Cannon. Replace lid and pump full with air. Take off lid and spray directly over the stencils. Blot excess paint off stencils with paper towel then peel off stencils. Let dry.
-
Spritz Blackout on a few random areas of shirt and let dry. Pour remaining paint back into bottle and thoroughly clean Paint Cannon.
-
Color in areas inside Crown and Bleeding Heart designs with Fire Hydrant Fabric Marker.
-
Lay Alphabet stencil on shirt where shown and use Blackout Fabric Marker to color in letters to spell out the saying, “Off With Her Head.” Let dry.
-
Draw smaller hearts where shown with Blackout and Fire Hydrant markers.
-
Spritz Scarlet Fabric Spray Paint randomly across shirt. Tip: To create a splatter effect, hold nozzle down halfway then pump.
-
Wait 72 hours before washing. Machine wash warm on gentle cycle with mild soap. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Remove promptly and line dry. To iron, turn garment inside out. Do not dry clean.
