An old flannel
Your favorite rock tee shirt
Rotary cutter or scissors
Pins
Sewing machine

Instructions

First cut the t-shirt apart to get the image you want. Get a nice straight edge using a rotary cutter; if there is an image on the back save it for another shirt.
Next pin it to the back of your flannel.
Stitch around the T-shirt leaving the edges raw. If you don’t have a sewing machine you can use fabric glue.

Sold. This project had me at old band tees and old flannel shirts. This is the coolest way to combine two things you loved but rarely wear anymore. When I was in college, flannel and a tank top was my go to comfy outfit so this prect takes me back and it's super simple to make this. You can make this for a friend as a birthday gift or an anniversary gift for your boyfriend.
