Everyone's talking about Lutradur, the versatile non-woven fabric. Artists, designers, and crafters have been cutting it, sewing it, painting it, printing and stamping on it, stenciling it, stamp it, pleating it, dying it, distressing it, drawing on it, die-cutting it, punching it, sculpting with it, beading it, weaving it, and so much more! There doesn’t seem to be a limit on the possibilities using this product and it was the talk of the Craft and Hobby Association’s 2011 Winter tradeshow. It is acid free and being incorporated in just about every craft technique from Quilting to ATCs to Bookmaking to the Altered Arts. Perfect for ink-jet printers, you can also create translucent effects with dyes and paints. It’s hot and we know why! You can’t beat this as a great foundation medium to build incredible art and craft. Although it looks delicate, this is one strong material that holds up to folding, sewing, and heavy embellishment.
