Gorgeous Vintage Map Heart Garland
"Now that everyone seems to use a satnav these days its very easy to get hold of vintage road maps that are no longer used. These maps are great for crafting with and for making cute decorations. They are often printed on nice woven paper and come in lovely colors. I used an extra large heart punch to punch out lots of hearts from an old road map. I then used these paper hearts to make a gorgeous 3d map heart garland to decorate my home. This garland isn't just for Valentine's I think it will be staying up all year."

- extra large heart punch or heart cookie cutter.
- scissors
- red twine
- glue stick

Yeah, I can see myself looking in the library for these old maps. There's so many projects you could work on using them, especially the vintage ones. I love how this project turned out, I bet this paper is very strong and makes it easier to manipulate.
