Tie Dye Footprint Butterfly Canvas

Materials:

Apple Barrel ® Colors - Hot Pink, 2 oz.
Apple Barrel ® Colors - Banana, 2 oz.
Apple Barrel ® Colors - Cool Blue, 2 oz.
Apple Barrel ® Colors - White, 2 oz.
Apple Barrel ® Colors - Black, 2 oz.
Apple Barrel ® Colors - Green Clover, 2 oz.
Apple Barrel ® Colors - Apricot, 2 oz.
Folkart ® Brush Sets - Artist Variety Set, 10 pc.
Two 8x10 canvases
Spray Bottle
Small paper cups

Instructions:

Mix water to each paint listed individually in paper cups.
Brush the water down paint to the canvas and spray with water from the spray bottle. Allow the paint to blend slightly on the canvases to create a tie dyed look.
Paint the bottom of your child’s feet with Black and press on the canvas to create a butterfly.
Paint the bodies Black. Add details to the butterflies.

If there's a craft that the little ones love is to paint. It is so much fun for them and in this project, there's a tie and dye look that your create after painting your canvas that is absolutely genius. If you haven't made butterflies like this then it's time you do.

I really love this idea and I wish that I had seen it years ago when my children had smaller feet. I think my kids would have loved it. maybe, i could just buy bigger canvases that would fit their feet.lol.Thank you for all of the great ideas. I know my kids and I will have a lot of fun making some of these.
