In under ten minutes and for under five dollars, you can create homemade hair accessories that are unique and charming. These 10 Minute Hair Ties are a breeze to put together and add some seriously interesting textures to your do. Made out of bright ribbons and a wooden bead, this DIY craft would be a fantastic last-minute slumber party creation or a flawless way to slide some DIY into your girl’s picture day ensemble. Crafters who are not a fan of wood crafts could easily replace the wooden bead with a colorful, clay bead instead.

I didn't even realize you could buy elastic like that. That opens up a whole new world of possibilities! I think I have some wooden beads that would work for this and I have two granddaughters who will need stocking stuffers this Christmas, so that works for me! Thanks for the idea.
