This is a beautiful scarf pattern. I love that it is wide enough to be a warming shawl for a cool spring or autumn wrap. This is a really nice pattern for a newbie to make. If you catch a good sale on yarn you could have a couple of these on hand for a gift to give any time of the year. I think I'd be inclined to use solid colors rather than variegated skeins. What do you think?

This would really make a great super scarf without all the length associated with them. It's nice in the neutral gray color, too. It looks so luxe, your gift recipient would not know that you were the one who made it. I love this Shawl/Scarf pattern so much! I am trying to see if I've got enough yarn here at home to make this. Thank you to the pattern maker!

This is definitely a go-to pattern for me. It's easy to understand and not complicated. The finished result is very impressive and these scarf shawls make really awesome gifts for family members and friends! Many people appreciate handmade gifts! What could be better than a gift tailored to suit them?
