Happy Valentine's Day Card
Use the "Season of the Heart" kit from Ecstasy Crafts to make this Valentine's Day card. This card features an embossed and stitched heart attached to the card as an embellishment.
Materials:
Ecstasy Crafts Season of the Heart Kit including:
- Morehead 3D die cut sheet #11052312
- Victorian flowers 3D die cut sheet # 82160
- heart Amazing stencils #4048505
- foam pads #65000001
- a gold Valentine sticker sheet #307G
- 4 pink cards with envelopes #K409864
Instructions:
- Place stencil # 2 onto the front of a piece of blue card stock. Dry emboss the ½ swirl design and around the entire heart.
- Place on a piercing pad and pierce the star/flower designs using a piercing tool.
- Repeat steps #1 and #2 for the other half of the design. Emboss the inner heart design from stencil #1 in the center.
- Embroider the stars/flowers using a light pink metallic thread (the lines on the stencil represent threads).
- Cut out the heart and attach to the card with 3-D foam tabs.
- Attach layer #1 of the 3-D design to the card using double-sided tape.
- Place 3-D foam tabs to the back of layer #2 and attach on top of layer #1. Repeat for the remaining layers.
