In the Designer's Words: "This is a fun project for a book lover. It is a book bag/cover which makes transporting (and reading) your favourite book much easier. Easy to make and fun to personalise with your favourite technique (quilting, applique, embroidery etc). This will make a perfect gift for a friend or a school teacher. Great scrap busting project or a way to practise new techniques."

I always carry a book in my bag this quilted book bag will protect these books from marks and dog-earing. Another great idea. Not to overlook a good way to use up bits of material I have kept in case I can use them someday someday just arrived.

I am going to make this adorable project for the members of my book club. I have a stockpile of scrap pieces of material that I can use up, and I believe they would use this on the books they take to the beach with them. I am going to share this project with one of the women in my bible study group I think she will enjoy this as well.
