Ive made a top like this and it really is so easy. I didnt have a scarf, so I just bought some sheer material and I think the rule of thumb is to allow twice the length you would like the top to be (because the foldline is going to be shoulders of your top). One thing I would point out - sewing with sheer fabrics can be a bit tricky. It might pay to watch some tutorials on the subject first.

A great way to make a light summery top. I love that it is so easy and their are so many scarfs out there tp use for this thst the possibilities for this are end less. I can wait to make this cute simple top. Id love to see your projects from this. Thanks
