I love this teardrop trivet it is so cool looking and so different then most you see. It actually may be the talk of your house with people wondering where they can get one. The teardrops actually almost remind me of butterfly wings. I tried to make a quilt and no luck yet so I think I may try by starting with this little trivet first to learn to machine quilt. It looks easy enough. These would make some real cute gifts. Nice tutorial . Anyone make one?
