Relieve some of the everyday stress you experience in your adult life by coloring! In Color Me Stress-Free, adults are invited to channel "day-to-day stresses into a satisfying, creative accomplishment.' Loaded with nearly 100 designs and organized beautifully, this adult coloring book is perfect for any adults under some level of stress (and let's face it: that's all of us).

Color Me Stress-Free is the perfect pairing of stress-relief information and action! This book is organized into seven chapters based on common themes of stress: Disorganization, Relationships, Finances, Work, Health, Time, and Travel & Commuting. At the start of each chapter, art therapist Lacy Mucklow unpacks why certain stressors have their impact and explains why the coloring pages in a given chapter are tailored to a particular topic. For example, combat the disorderliness of clutter by focusing on balance and coloring in designs that are symmetrical and orderly. Tackle the stress of maintaining good health by coloring in images that represent growth and well being. Adult coloring is meant to relieve stress, and pairing coloring pages with themes of stress was a genius idea for Color Me Stress-Free.

Beyond the general structure of organizing by themes of stress, this book includes a blank page at the end of each chapter to draw and color your own design or take notes. Practice creativity by coloring in the designs created by Angela Porter, and use the blank pages for your own purposes.

Finally, this book has plenty of coloring examples throughout! At the start of each chapter you'll see a few designs partially or fully colored in for inspiration. The cover also is a great example of different ways you can mix and match colors wonderfully. I love the combination of pinks, yellows, and greens. I also love black and white----I think it would be a fun experiment to just use black pen or pencil to create a lovely, monochromatic design.

The binding on this book is thick and flexible, somewhere between hardcover and paperback. It will be a sturdy companion on the go but flexible enough to color easily. For a fabulous adult coloring book option, I highly recommend Color Me Stress-Free!

My favorite color is blue. Because it's a calming color.

So many exciting things to try!
