Lilac Rose Petals Luminary

"This outdoor luminary is so easy to make. Just cut off the spoon handles, add hot glue, apply the petals, and attach to the glass bowl in an overlapping manner. The best part is that all of the materials are available from the dollar store!"

This luminary is adorable. For those that are intent on creating their own wedding decor, this would be beautiful as center piece on the tables. When I goggled faux petals I see that they come in a lot of colors so I am sure one of them would fit into your color scheme.

Unique! I love this. I think I can find the items in the dollar tree to make this luminary. Well, maybe not the petals but perhaps flowers that can be dismantled. I did a quick search and I discovered I can easily make a set of these. Now, I just wish I knew the dimensions of the glass vessel.

What a beautiful way to DIY a light -- and on a tight budget, too! I'm going to show my sister this tutorial so she can add it to her list of DIY wedding decorations. It'll look perfect in the ceremony or reception!

I love the look and the color. My grand daughters two favorite colors are pink and purple so you know who will end up getting this for her bedroom. I love the melting spoon part as I have done it before, just make sure you do it in a well ventilated area. I did mine on the back porch. Thank you for sharing this great idea.

I love this Lilac Rose Petals Luminary craft. I've been looking for a unique idea for my daughters late summer wedding. These will look great on the tables. I like the idea of using LED flameless candle, and the rose peddles colors can be changed. Thank-you for this free craft idea.

Love this! It's absolutely beautiful!
