This is a wonderful DIY project.i want to grow strawberries and I live in an apartment. I have a nice patio but no soil area in which to grow things. This will not only work as a pretty decoration but also a growth system. Thank you so much for inspiring me to do this.

I tried growing strawberries years ago for about 3 season and everyone had success but me so I gave up. I really want to try again and was looking for a good way to plant them and I came across this tutorial. I am going to give this a try because I love fresh strawberries. I love when someone who has tried it and made mistakes lets you know what happened and then tells what worked for them the next time so we do not make that mistake too. Now all I have to do is find my pots or find some and get to work. Can you do beans and cucumbers like that too? Anyone know?
