Elf Hat Gift Bag and Tag

A sporty, striped elf hat graces this holiday gift bag and tag set. Gift bags are an inexpensive and easy way to wrap Christmas gifts.

Materials:

Americana Writers

• DAW01 - White
• DAW19 - Christmas Red

Supplies

• Hole punch
• Curling ribbon
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Pencil
• School glue stick
• Aleene's quick-dry tacky glue
• One sheet of coordinating green cardstock
• 1" white pompon
• Red gift sack (lunch sack size)
• One sheet of print scrapbook paper (We used holiday stripe pattern.)

Instructions:

1. Trace hat pattern onto print paper; cut out shape.
2. Cut 5" x 7" piece from green cardstock. Referring to photo for placement, use glue stick to attach hat to green cardstock.
3. Use Christmas Red Americana Writer to outline hat; let dry.
4. Use White Writer to write "to" and "from" on print paper around hat shape; let dry.
5. Use tacky glue to attach pompon at end of hat; let dry
6. Punch hole at each upper corner of tag. Fold down top of gift sack and place tag near top of fold; punch holes in sack to align with holes on tag.
7. Pull curling ribbon through holes and tie in bow to attach tag to sack.
