Heart on a Wire Earrings

These lightweight Heart on a Wire Earrings make fun and fashionable accessories for any time of year.  Great for wearing out on a date night or just to add some style to a tee shirt and jeans, these earrings are super easy and quick to make.  You could even add a little bit of color to these earrings by adding some colorful beads to the wire hearts.  Great for girls of all ages, these earrings are so sweet and fun and will never go out of style!

Materials:

• Silver Wire (You can choose whatever gauge you like)
• Earring Hooks
• Wire Cutters
• Round Nose Pliers
• Chain Nose Pliers

Instructions:

1. Gather all your supplies together before you start jewellery making.
    
2. Cut two pieces of wire approximately 15cm (6 inches)in length.
    
3. Taking your round nose pliers, slowly twist one end of the wire around one of the pliers nose's.
    
4. Take your finger and gently create a bend/v-shape beneath the loop you just created.
   
   
    
5. Taking your round nose pliers again, make one more loop the exact same size as the previous one, and the exact same length for the bend as the previous loop.
   
   
    
6. Taking your wire cutters, cut of any excess wire.
    
7. Using your chain nose pliers, gently squeeze the two loops closer together till they touch.
    
8. Thread/attach the hearts you just created onto your earring hooks.
