As a fan of minimalist art and decor, this is definitely a keeper. I agree with everyone who has commented before that it would look better in shades of other colours. I'd go for neutral hues or pastel colours, they look better against white walls. If you like s little more glam then add some beads or glitter yarn.

Hmm. We have to use our creative side with this project. If you have no creativity then it'll probably end up looking plain and simple. Personally, I would do this in shades of white and ivory for a very modern look. I think if you separate the strands of yarn into the 4 ply pieces, it would fluff up the yarn even more to make a real impactful look. Don't knock this until you give it a try. Remember, this is a basic DIY that you must use your imagination to really work it.

I agree that it is simple looking but that's the beauty of it. Try dressing it up a tad. Add wood or glass beads to the ends. Tie small bells on the ends and hang it outside your kitchen window and you have a wind chime. You have to just close your eyes and let your imagination run with it.

Even though this DIY doesn't look like much I think it has alot of potential! Use white yarn and add some eyes and a nose and it could make a really cute Santa decoration. Or make the middle a colorful dream catcher look . I may just make one now! I bet some other people could come up with some other really cool ideas to spice this DIY up !

IIt doesn't seem like much but I see alot of potential with this simple Diy . Maybe if you made it in white and added some eyes and a little nose it could make a really cute Santa wall or tree decoration. Or even making a dream catcher in the middle out of a multi colored yarn . I just may try this! It could be really cool )

I am not impressed by this DIY yarn hanging at all. Just looks like hanks of yarn.
