"The best time of the year for candlelight is during winter. The glow gives us a warm and secure feeling when it is freezing cold outside. This project turns an ordinary whiskey glass into a beautiful candle or tea light holder within 30 minutes. You only need to know single and double crochet stitches to make it. An illustrated tutorial shows how how this particular project was made. As quickly as these are finished, you can consider making a few to give as gifts, as well."

I love candles all the time. This is a very easy pattern. It's well written, easy to follow and doesn't take much in the way of supplies or time to accomplish. I think I will make them in different colors for different seasons and holidays. Red and green for Christmas, pastels for Easter, etc.
