Can this really be made in an evening? It's gorgeous! I don't know how to crochet, but I've noticed some of the local stores offer crochet classes. I love cowl scarves made out of chunky yarns. The yarn is so fun to work with, but only if it doesn't have any wool in it. Wool yarn makes me itch!

I love this idea! Knitting never really clicked for me, but I love to crochet, so this project is a great compromise. It would make a great last-minute holiday gift, too.
