What a sweet and simple crochet cowl. It has a rib collar on it ( like a mock neck sweater) then flares out to just cover the neck and chest. It's not overly fussy. It should just lay nice and flat under a coat. Very different from most other cowls out there.

Now this is the cowl I remember as a kid. Just right to keep the neck and chest warm in the winter. My mom used to make us kids this and I loved it. This Country Cozy Crochet Cowl is beautiful and the pattern is well written and easy to follow. I will be making this one and hope my children like it as much as I did. Thank you so much for the memories and this free crochet pattern.
