This yarn must be pretty sturdy because most bag straps stretch and end up looking a bit weird after use but this rope handle is sure to stay the same. I can't get over how neat and professional this bag looks, and to think it's only made from two types of stitches.

I think this would make a perfect vacation or beach bag. I can picture it done in two shades of blue. The rope gives it a nautical look to me. You could slide a book into the interior along with suntan lotion, sunglasses and a bottle of water. Two tones of green would make a cute bag to take on a camping trip.

This is a perfect project for beginners or old timers like myself. I try to teach friends to crochet and this will make a great piece to try. I make and sell crochet hand bags and friends are always asking how I do it. This will give them something nice to make and to be proud of.

I really like the stitch used for this bag. It makes a simple bag look more sophisticated. The rope handle is a nice plus. It not only looks good, but it makes it look unique, and gives the bag a strong handle that wont stretch out over time or under pressure.

The "Suzette Modern Crochet Tote" is a very professional looking tote bag. It is all in the details. Using the grommets and the heavy rope give it just the right amount of extra reinforcement you will need to use this to tote all your heavy materials. The extra effort will be worth it! I am loving the stitch pattern on this bag! I give it an A
