I want to enlarge it and by my calculations I'd have to chain it to the size I want then add 7 for the first repeat? Not sure I've done the math right, would someone be so kind as to check it for me? Thank you in advance!!!

Hi there, Here are some explanations for the abbreviations - dc = double crochet, ch = chain, sc = single crochet, * = how many times to repeat a step

I'm currently making your blanket, and I'm a newbie but it seems like your directions are a little off (especially the repeat parts). When I followed your directions as written, the blanket didn't have the necessary spaces and stitches for the next line. When I changed followed the directions with the astericks in different spots, then I was able to figure out the pattern and it started to look like the blanket in the picture. It may be beneficial to revisit your directions as written and make them clearer for those of us who are beginners. : ) It's an easy blanket to make that goes fast and keeps my interest which says a lot.

Maybe it's just because I'm still new at this, but these instructions are a little hard to follow :/
