Upcycled Football Vase

"With Superbowl nearing, this DIY project is one that will even make Tom Brady proud. Yep, I deflated a football. Then I upcycled it into a very cool vase to use as a centerpiece for my Superbowl party. All you need is a football, a glass vase (about 10" tall), scissors and fresh flowers. If you have an old football, use it; a bit of wear and tear will give your project a very cool vintage vibe. If not, you can pick up a new one for less than 10 dollars."

Materials List

  • football
  • glass vase, about 10" tall

It has been some time since my home hosted a Superbowl. I really would go all out when we did. I would never have thought of making part of my decorations for a vase. This is the ultimate fan decor.

It's that time of the year and my Auntie is a football widow. I know she is such a team player but I think that this item would be taking it a little to the extreme. My uncle on the other hand may like it a little especially if arranged with edibles.

This is so unique and I adore it. I know a couple who is super into football and has the decor taking over BOTH their spaces. This would be a good idea for them (and a great reminder to buy flowers)
