Materials:
- Aleene’s Collage Pauge – glossy
- Polymer clay – dark brown
- Polymer clay molding medium
- Polymer clay mold of tiny Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup
- Colored foil
- Spritz bottle
- Paint brush
Instructions:
- Polymer clay molds are quick and easy to make. Make sure that your candy is cold before molding and follow the directions on the package. Molding tip: Try to make the molding medium about 1/4″ thick on the sides and bottom. It will make removing the clay from the mold easier.
- Condition a small amount of clay and roll into a ball. The ball should come above the rim of the mold a bit.Spritz the mold and push clay firmly into the mold.Turn the mold over and push the bottom until the clay pops out.
- Create a small flat-ish heart for the top.Recipe for milk chocolate clay: Mix one part white and gold clay with two parts dark brown clay. Adjust as needed. If you intend to cover the heart with foil, use scrap clay to make it.
- I made my own ring finding, so I put it right into the clay before baking. Bake according to directions.
- Coat the candy cup with Aleene’s Collage Pauge glossy sealer. Allow to dry. Coat the heart in the sealer as well, then apply the colored foil smoothing the best you can. Hot glue the heart to the candy cup.
- To preserve the foil give it a coat of the sealer and allow it to dry.
- Think of the possibilities! These are some variations I came up with.
