Easy DIY Mermaid Backdrop

By: Nikki Wills from tikkido.com
Easy DIY Mermaid Backdrop
Easy DIY Mermaid Backdrop

"Have a little mermaid in your house? Planning a mermaid themed birthday party? Make this incredibly easy mermaid scale party backdrop using materials found at the dollar store for about $5! I used shiny, iridescent paper plates I found at the dollar store and simply glued them onto a backdrop I made by taping together several pieces of foam core poster board (also found at the dollar store--that's the best place to get it). It's the perfect dessert table or photo booth backdrop."

Well if this isn't the EASIEST party DIY that I have see, I don't know what is. I am loving the plates. Never saw these before! They've got coloring like an irridescent unicorn, too. For that price I could make an entire wall for a party or celebration. I'm thinking a lot about Halloween, and an idea like this is perfect to just layer plates with googly eyes or something on them.
