Origami is a fun paper craft. During the holiday season I have often seen the little kits designed for kids but I have never purchased them. For me, that would probably be the perfect way for me to get a start. Start simple and work my way up for this beautiful origami lotus.

I was on a cruise recently that had a class in making origami. I made a bird. I said I wanted to make more but never did. We are having a gathering at our home next month and I think one of these on each guests dinner plate would be pretty.
