DIY Paper Peony Flowers

From the designer: "I’ve always loved making paper flowers. They’re such a fun, creative project, especially when the kids get involved. Peonies, with their lush layers and rich colors, have always been one of my favorites. These paper peonies can also make a beautiful, thoughtful gift. They’re also perfect for dressing up a party table or creating a centerpiece that will never wilt. Each petal comes to life as you curl and glue it into place, and before long, you’ll have a bloom that looks impressively realistic. All you need are a few simple materials: purple construction paper for the petals, yellow for the center, and a bit of green wrapping paper for the leaves and base. A green floral wire creates the sturdy stem, and a wooden kebab stick helps shape those soft, rounded petals. With a little craft glue and some imagination, you can make a bouquet that brightens any space. These paper peonies are the perfect way to bring floral beauty indoors."
