Polka Dot Ornament

Use sponge pouncers to paint polka dots on a holiday ornament.

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required
Americana Gloss Enamels

  • DAG67 - Black
  • DAG151 - Royal Fuchsia
  • DAG234 - Calypso Blue
  • DAG273 - Saffron Yellow

Supplies

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Water container
  • Palette or plastic plate
  • Paper towels
  • Round sponge pouncers
  • Assorted ribbons in coordinating colors
  •  Pearl tone round ornament

Steps:


Preparation: Clean glass surface with rubbing alcohol.

  1. Use pouncers dipped into Americana Gloss Enamels color of your choice to stamp dots randomly on ornament surface.
     
  2. When dry, attach ribbon and tie with bow.

Helpful Hint
Let dry between steps and/or additional coats of paint.

This is so cute. It will look very nice on a Victorian tree. Or on a modern tree. I want to do a blue tree this year so this will be an inexpensive way to do it. I have a bunch of plain ornaments and paint so all I need is the ribbon!
