Sent a little "tweet" someone's way with this Rustic Bird Card from Martha Stewart Crafts.  With some basic card making supplies, you can create this card and many more to send as birthday greetings or just because.  Create several and bundle them together to create a cute gift for someone who loves sending cards!

Rustic Bird Cards

  • Bird stamp
  • Pale pink cardstock
  • Glue stamp pad
  • Coordinating glitter
  • Scissors
  • Foam Adhesive
  • Peach cardstock
  • Neutrals paper pad
  • Ruler
  • Craft knife
  • Cutting mat

  1. Stamp a bird onto pale pink cardstock using the glue stamp pad. Sprinkle with coordinating glitter, working over a paper plate or large sheet of paper to catch excess glitter. Tap off excess glitter and tip back into bottle.
  2. Cut out the stamped bird with scissors. Adhere to peach cardstock using foam adhesive. Use scissors to cut the bird outline from the peach cardstock.
  3. Create a square card from the peach cardstock. Cut a silver mat from the Neutrals paper pad and adhere to front of card.
  4. Using the ruler and craft knife on cutting mat, cut a frame for the stamped bird from the metallic wood grain paper. Adhere frame to card using foam adhesive.
  5. Adhere the stamped bird cutout in center of frame.
