Spider Web Window Charm

By: Dina Fernandez for Rings & Things

Decorate a window for Halloween with this beaded spider web window charm from Rings & Things. Hang from a bit of clear fishing line in front of a window this Halloween.

Halloween Spider Web Window Charm

  • 1 #55-910 3.75” snowflake wire form
  • 100 to 120 #20-222-242 Size 8 Czech glass seed beads, garnet
  • 7 #49-570 3-D spider charms, sterling silver
  • 50” #46-702-12 22-gauge ColourCraft® wire, black
  • 6 #37-136-3 5mm ound jump rings, silver plated
  • 1 #60-280 The Ultimate! adhesive
  • Round-nose pliers
  • side cutters

  1. Take snowflake form and start wrapping the black wire at the center of form. Wrap wire counter clockwise around the spokes of the form. After you go around once with wire you can start adding beads.
  2. Start adding beads to one spoke, two beads at a time. Then wrap wire once around spoke, above the bead, and continue on to the next spoke, until you have around all six spokes of the form.
  3. Increase the amount of beads by one, each time you go around. Leave about a ¼” of wire exposed at the tip of each spoke.
  4. Using the round-nose pliers, make a loop at the end of each spoke.
  5. Put a 5mm jump ring on each spider charm and secure them to the end loops on spider web.
  6. Snip off loop on the remaining spider charm with side cutters.
  7. Glue the spider to the center of the spider web using the Ultimate! Adhesive.
