This is actually a really neat idea for a kids' project. At first, I thought the cake pan was going to get strung up with that twine, along with the wreath. I thought the extra seeds that landed in the pan would just stay there. But you don't use the cake pan. But I wonder if you could?! You would only have to spray something on there to protect it from rusting. It would also have to be safe for the birds, too. I don't know if I'd have the patience or the time to restring the Cheerios and re-do the seeds every time, though. But it is a really neat idea!
