Butterfly Garden Globe
Add some decor to your garden (and reuse an old lamp fixture) with this Butterfly Garden Globe. In a few easy steps, you can have a lovely garden craft that will impress visitors of all shapes and sizes! Although this one uses beautiful butterflies, you can easily use any materials you'd like. You could even place a small light under these globes for a lovely walkway up to your front or back door.
Materials:
- Mod Podge Glue
- Mod Podge Sparkle Glue
- Foam Brush
- Glass light fixture
- Various cutouts
Instructions:
-
Wipe down your light fixture so that it's clean and dry.
-
Paint a small portion of your light fixture with some Mod Podge.
-
Adhere your images, (I'm using leftover butterflies from my Butterfly Overload project) adding a layer of Mod Podge over top as you go.
-
Keep going around your whole fixture until it's fully embellished.
-
And now for the fun part! Add a second layer of Mod Podge using SPARKLE Mod Podge to seal in and protect your images from any cold wet weather, and to add some sparkle that will catch the rays of the sun.

I have 2 light globe fixtures lying around that I was going to try and figure out what to do with them. This is so cute and a very inexpensive project since I already have the globe. I love the butterfly one because we love them and also love birds which my second one will be. You pay a lot at the stores for these. Where is the best place to get the decals for this project?
