Artistic Rocks Painting Craft
From the Blogger: "These colorful and creative rock paper weights are definitely one of a kind pieces of art, that no one else will have. The fun part of making them is that you first paint, splatter, sprinkle and stencil designs and patterns onto deli paper and once these are dry, you then decoupage torn pieces of your own homemade paper onto the rocks. The project is really easy but drying time will have to be considered when making these."

With this fun craft, I'll be able to give new meaning to the old B-52s line, "It wasn't a rock. It was a rock lobster!" Beautiful

These are gorgeous. I got into the rock painting craze a bit last year, but I didn't know you could decoupage with them. This has just expanded the realm of possibility for me!

This is a really cool project and so clever! Would make a nice paperweight for a high schooler or college bound student, and you could even add their name. Would also look pretty in a cut glass bowl.... Add a hopeful word or inspiration to each one, and give as a gift of wishes. I have seen this done at a bridal shower with each person offering a word of hope to the couple on a rock... Clever technique and idea!
