Colorful Bead Jar
If you need a organized yet adorable method of storing beads, then you'll love this Colorful Bead Jar from Candace Jedrowicz. Upcycle items you would otherwise throw away thanks to glass jar crafts like this one. Add colorful beads to the glass for a pretty look.
Materials:
- Mason jar
- Decorative paper
- Scissors
- Salt box with spout
- Craft knife
- Aleene’s Double Stick Tacky Sheets
- Aleene’s Tacky Glue
Instructions:

Trace around the jar lid insert on your decorative paper and cut out.

Place the lid ring on top of the salt box to position the spout and trace on the inside of the ring.

Cut the top of the box out.

Check to be sure the spout will fit in in the lid.

Make a template with a hole for the spout.

Cut the spout opening leaving the paper attached at the back of the cut.

Check to make sure the spout will open before using double sided tape to attach the paper.Use glue to secure the flap of paper to the spout.

Allow to dry and add beads.

This is a clever idea for smaller beads. I like the way how the beads comes off the spout. It will avoid pouring too much beads. And it would also be easier to put the excess beads back by just opening the cover of the bottle. Very efficient!
