"The Acorn Hand Towel will make a lovely addition to your fall decor this season! Crocheted using the mini corner to corner (C2C) method, this towel is thick and lush. Handmade towels would also make great housewarming, hostess, or holiday gifts! You can use this towel in the kitchen or bath as well as cut the graph to where it would make a great place mat or hot pad. This pattern uses cotton size 4 medium weight yarn and a G/6 (4.25 mm) hook."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge8 ¾ blocks and 9 ¼ rows in a 4” (10cm) square.

Kitchen items are always one of my favorite to make. I happen to be the one that spends a lot of time in the kitchen so I enjoy using all of my hand made items. It is about this time that I start bringing out the fall decorations.

I have enjoyed creating corner to corner items. This is the first time that I have seen the mini c2c technique. This is a great project to complete to add to the kitchen for the fall decorations. It is a pretty substantial size also.

So cute and I love the design. It isn't centered around one particular Holiday. It's seasonal.You can use it from the beginning of September thru thanksgiving. That's a plus. The stitches are very simple. I love the half double stitch. This will be fast and easy to do. I want place mats!

Personally, I happen to love the look of the half-double crochets versus a double crochet. It gives it such great texture! What a cute idea for the entire late summer all the way though the fall. I can tell she loves making the corner to corner patterns. She always goes a great job writing her patterns.
